The museum exhibits the heritage of the Rathores in arms, costumes, paintings and decorated period. Also, the forts in Jodhpur was one of the only ones that were never taken by the enemy. The design of the promenade leading up to the fort was made so that there was a sharp turn right before the main gates. Thus, this ingenious design made it impossible for charging elephants or soldiers to storm the gates and take the fort. Visit Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur to know more history.
