Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, displaying artifacts from around the country. Phnom Penh is the capital of beautiful Cambodia. Apart from the bustling streets and chaotic markets, it has a lot more to it. The city of Phnom Penh has endless offerings for its guests. There is no shortage of activities in the Cambodian capital. From dipping your toes into Khmer culture and exploring the city’s heritage to sampling the delights of the selection of delicious local food available. The temples of the city are so peaceful and quiet. We recommend going outside the National Museum and negotiating with a tuk-tuk driver to take you on a temple tour of the city. It should cost approximately 10$ per person, and you will see 5 temples around the city.

At Wat Phnom, you will have to pay $1 at the entry fee, but all the rest have no entry charges. This is a fantastic way to see the streets of the city as well as visiting the spiritual places. If you are lucky you might receive a blessing from a monk while visiting these temples.
